Practise listening - just a test for me to test podcasting

I have tried to record a dialogue - I have taken it from a textbook as I have no time to do the "real, real" thing.
I want students to practise their listening and do two tasks.

1. Listen and try to fill the missing information in the table.
Cannot put it here as it brings with it a lot of messy html codes again.

2. Listen once more and do the matching.
I have it ready as a hot potato. But have no idea how to put it in here.

And similarly I have no idea how to put here the mp3 file. The link symbol takes me only to the URL pages.

And that is the ending of my podcasting. Definitely for today.

What I can do is put it into my moodle - which is exactly what I need to do - you can share it with me at: https://moodle.fp.tul.cz/course/view.php?id=963 (nothing fancy, just a test).
But then I am not sure if this is understood as podcasting?

I have the thing saved with the mp3 ending and with the .aup - I have written something in the line of ID3 - but do not know exactly what it is good for.

Reflecting on blogging

1. IT - I think I hardly focused on anything else. But obviously, I must have used writing skilsl and knowledge of vocabulary and grammar, time to time I do remember to use pucntuation and spelling, I never bother to use a spellchecker, so I am sure there is a lot of misprints. I do not use the draft option as I know you will tollerate my typos. The "kids" in my classes don´t.
The kids would need the same skills since they are exactly in my "shoes" - non-native speakers of English, just learning it for a shorter period than me.
What exactly is meant by wider skill? Specific pieces of writing? Or presenting in power point? Or what? Yes, I am sure it can be used in many versatile ways, yet I cannot imagine the time demands.
Virtually any subjects.
I had mainly problems with IT, which won´t be their problem. In theirs - motivation and English.

If I understand well, I have finished for this week. Yes?n Sorry about the optional thing. I will save its copy and read it in summer, but now I behave like a "normal" student.

I hope I have done all I was supposed to as I have just received a package full of English textbooks frm our ministry of educataion and they want me to write an evaluation for them - of course, as usual, "yesterday" was late. So my weekend programme is clear. It has started snowing heavily again, so I do not mind so much.

White tigers in Liberec

In Liberec we have an ice-hockey team called White tigers. Don´t ask me if they are good or not as I have no idea. They take their name after the rare white tigers we have in our zoo.

Yet, there was a really bad piece of news about them some time ago when lions went for a "hunt". The story even caught the attention of the BBC reporters.
